Backflow Testing
We are certified and licensed to test any backflow prevention assembly, be it domestic, fire, irrigation or other water system, such as boilers, chillers, soda machines, etc. Testing will determine whether or not the assembly is functioning properly or if repairs need to be made.
Annual testing is important to maintain the functionality of the backflow preventer.
Backflow Repairs
A failing backflow test means repairs are needed. Repairs could be as easy as a simple cleaning, a complete rebuild or somewhere inbetween. Regardless of what is needed, Jay's Backflow can take care of the situation.
If possible, we will perform the repairs at the time of testing but this is on a case by case basis and dependent on whether we have parts on hand. We try to stay stocked up on the most common parts for the most common brands.
Backflow Assembly Replacements
While we do everything we can to repair an assembly, there are times that a replacement of the assembly is damage beyond repair or it is more cost effective than a repair. We will provide quotes and perform replacements for domestic and irrigation assemblies only. We will provide referrals for local fire suppression contractors if needed.
Unfornately, outside assemblies are also stolen and will have to be replaced as well. We can often quote the installation of cages and enclosures as well.
Backflow Assembly Installations
We are fully licensed to install brand new assemblies. We can also pull the appropriate permits if needed. We may hire subcontractors when labor outside our main scope of work is. Such instances include but are not limited to dywall/paint, concrete/asphalt, digging, etc.
All installations are performed in accordance with all current codes at the time of completion.
